This is the birthday if the Eurooean Union. On the 9th of May, 1950 Robert Schuman made his famous declaration that started the movement o European integration.
This is a day to celebrate.
Now that we aproach the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon that will provide for more integrated Euopean politica strucures, badly neaded in order to pursue the constraction of e ever closer Europe, the Europe of Citizens.
